“It took me twenty years to learn what not to play”

OSKAR SAGER
Yo I’m Oskar! I’m a trumpet player from Brooklyn. I’m a senior at LaGuardia High School who has gotten to study with Dave Smith. Also, I play in many bands outside of school, like Jazz at Lincoln Center’s best youth big band. I even gig around the city with my own band. You might catch me busking around the city, or transcribing a new trumpet solo every day. I am very excited to meet and teach you!

Hey, I’m Adam Brazzley! I’m a trumpet player from Brooklyn. I’ve gotten to study with the great Tatum Greenblatt, graduated from the best youth big band at Jazz at Lincoln Center, and played all around the city. I play all kinds of music, but jazz is what really resonates with me the most. I can’t wait to teach you all!

TRUMPETDillon CATO
Hi, I’m Dillon! I’m a trumpet player from New York City, who goes to the great LaGuardia High School. I play lead trumpet in both Laguardia’s band and in Jazz at Lincoln Center’s best big band. Over time I’ve really managed to understand the horn in multiple ways, and I can’t wait to share the knowledge. I’ve also gotten to study with the great Marcus Printup and Ashlin Parker. Can’t wait to teach you!
